Two men died on the morning of Thursday (24) after being hit by some stones of marble about 300 pounds each, while unloading a truck. According to the first information, Djalma Santos and Paulo Cerqueira Santana, 29, who was the truck driver, were unloading stones in a marble quarrying in District Jacana, when the trestles that supported the stones broke and they fell over them. Paul came to be rescued and taken to the Base Hospital but did not survive and died. He suffered skull sinking. Djalma already died at the scene. Currently, at least six men, including the two victims, helped unload the truck. The others were not injured.
