A call to the 911 emergency number alerted capital police in the Plateros sector about a 21-year-old woman who was unconscious lying on the floor of her apartment in the José Maria neighborhood, in the Álvaro Obregón mayor’s office.
Around 5:20 p.m., elements of the Capital Police were sent to a building on Golondrina Street, in the aforementioned neighbourhood to verify a report of an unconscious woman.
Just a few minutes later, Mexican Red Cross paramedics showed up at the scene, but nothing could be done for the young girl, because she no longer had vital signs, so the uniformed men secured the subject and notified the agent of the public ministry to that will start the corresponding research folder.
According to the first statements, the girl and the subject were at home; Minutes before the tragedy, the man entered the bathroom and heard noises, but upon leaving, he found the woman hanging on the window protection with a bow.
Then, the man lowered it from the structure, gave notice to the authorities and attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation manoeuvres, at which time the uniformed men came to the call for help.
The subject was placed at the disposal of the specialised prosecutor in homicides to demarcate responsibilities for the death of the 21-year-old girl, for which the agent of the public prosecutor initiated an investigation folder for the crime of homicide.
