Three people were killed and 21 wounded after a truck crashed into a bluff on Thursday morning (2) in the rural area of Cupira, in the Agreste region of Pernambuco. According to the Fire Department, the accident occurred because the vehicle brake failed. With the impact of the collision, the passengers were thrown out of the truck.
According to the Fire Department, 25 people were in the vehicle and the driver fled after the accident. Until the publication of this article, the driver was not found. The Fire Department was not able to tell if the victims were using any safety equipment.
